The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ÉLODIE. ÉLODIE operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”).
ÉLODIE is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Services. By visiting, interacting with, or purchasing from our store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT

We make every effort to display products as accurately as possible. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your device and screen settings.
All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice.
Products are subject to availability. In the event that an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will notify you and offer either a refund or an alternative product.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. An order is only accepted once payment has been received and we confirm dispatch.

Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
Products are sold for personal use only and not for resale without written consent.

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).
Prices may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at checkout at the time of purchase.
Unless stated otherwise, prices include VAT where applicable.
You agree to provide accurate and current payment information. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
ÉLODIE currently delivers within South Africa only.
Orders are dispatched from Cape Town via our courier partners.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on location, courier availability, weather conditions, and other factors beyond our control.
Shipping is free on all orders within South Africa.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery at the delivery address provided at checkout.
You must inspect your order upon delivery. Any defects, shortages, or issues must be reported in writing within 7 days of delivery.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
SECTION 6 – RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) remain unaffected.
SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, designs and product materials — is the property of ÉLODIE or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

SECTION 9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
ÉLODIE is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, all sales and purchases are made directly with ÉLODIE.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of transactions between you and ÉLODIE, including any injury, damage or loss arising from purchased products.
You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims arising from your transactions with ÉLODIE.
SECTION 10 – PRIVACY
All personal information collected through the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Because our store is hosted on Shopify, certain personal information may be processed by Shopify in order to provide the Services.
SECTION 11 – FEEDBACK
If you submit reviews, suggestions or feedback, you grant ÉLODIE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce and publish such content for marketing or operational purposes.
You confirm that any content you submit does not infringe on third-party rights.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing or availability at any time, including after an order has been placed.
If an order is affected by an error, we will notify you and provide an appropriate resolution.

You may not use our Services for unlawful purposes, to violate intellectual property rights, to transmit malicious software, or to interfere with the proper functioning of the website.
